Online Registration and Enrollment

Registering your student online through the Online Registration process is the initial step toward enrollment in the Grandview C-4 School District.

Online Registration: The registration process is completely online, which means it can be completed from the comfort of your own home, saving you time and eliminating the need for trips to the schools.

Registration Date: Online Registration will begin on Monday, July 8, 2024. This is the designated start date for parents and guardians to initiate the registration process for their student(s).

Focus Parent Portal: We are excited to announce are using a new student information system called Focus beginning with the 2024-2025 school year! This new system will make the registration process more streamlined and user-friendly.

    - You can gain access to the Focus student information system by going to portal.grandviewc4.net
    - Set Up an Account (ALL new and current families must set up an account.)

- - - Follow the prompts completing all the screens in the Focus student information system.

Submission and Review: Once you have completed all the required registration forms online, you will be able to submit them. District staff will then review your submission for completeness and accuracy.

After completing the registration, you may be required to complete additional steps for enrollment, which will be communicated to you by the district via email. It's important to check your email regularly throughout the online registration process as updates and important information will be communicated to you through this channel.

How to Register Online

You will receive a PIN no later than July 5. This PIN is required to set up your account in the new Focus portal system at portal.granviewc4.net

2. Complete all screens for each child. It will be necessary to add each student.

3. Upload residency and immunization documents for each student.

4. Once all registration screens are completed, you will be allowed to SUBMIT your registration. If you do not have the SUBMIT option, please review your online registration for missing information.

Submitting Residency Information Online

Uploading your residency documentation is a quick and secure process; allowing district staff to approve residency at a glance from your student's documents. Failure to upload the required residency documentation could result in the rejection of your online registration submission.

Residency Requirements:

You must submit the following residency requirements:

A CURRENT mortgage statement or rental/lease agreement in the resident’s name with landlord information and signatures.

Two CURRENT utility bills (gas, electric, water, trash service, home telephone, or cable) in the resident’s name. Billing or statement date (not the due date) must be within the last 30 days; no final bills, disconnect, or shut-off notices will be accepted.

If the lease states the tenant is only responsible for one utility, the resident may submit an alternate article of official business mail postmarked within the last 30 days.

Submitting Immunization Records Online

Uploading updated student immunization records is a secure process and helps move your registration process along. Out-of-date immunization records will delay the enrollment process. Click here for state immunization requirements.

For returning students: Prior to Spring Break, requests for state-required immunization updates were mailed from the school to the appropriate parents/guardians. Please upload those updated immunization records in the parent portal during the registration process, if you have not already emailed them to the health para at your child’s school.

New district families: If your child was not enrolled in Grandview schools as of May 2, 2023, please upload your child’s complete immunization record during the registration process in the Focus portal. **Please write your child’s anticipated grade level on the immunization records before uploading.

- If you do not have the immunization updates or records in your possession, you will need to contact your healthcare provider or previous school to obtain the records.

- If you do not have the necessary immunization updates or records you will not be able to complete the online process.

Transportation

Bus assignments will be mailed to families in August. Students attending High Grove or that have specialized transportation due to their IEP will be called prior to the first day of school.

Sessions will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. No appointments are necessary. They will be located at The Instructional Support Center at 13007 10th Street, Grandview, MO. The dates are:

July 9th (Tuesday) 8:30 am - 2:30 pm
July 10th (Wednesday) 8:30 am - 2:30 pm
July 11th (Thursday) 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm
July 15th (Monday) 8:30 am - 2:30 pm
July 16th (Tuesday) 8:30 am - 2:30 pm
July 17th (Wednesday) 1:00 pm - 7:00 pm
July 18th (Thursday) 8:30 am - 2:30 pm
